Known for his innovative approach to PR practice, Toks is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, a fellow of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria and, former general secretary of the Public Relations Consultants Association of Nigeria. 

He is a holder of a Master's degree in Leadership, Innovation and Change from York St. Johns University UK, LLB law Arden University and GMP Harvard Business School, Boston Massachusetts, USA, amongst others.
