Cassandra Uzo Ogbugh

Cassandra Uzo-Ogbugh leads Reckitt’s External Affairs, Media, Purpose initiatives, Partnerships and Corporate Communications strategy across East, West and Southern Africa. With over 16 years of experience in Brand Management, Communications and CSR, she has a proven track record of driving social impact and advancing Reckitt’s reputation and influence.


Over the course of her professional career, Cassandra has led high-impact marketing and communications initiatives for multinational brands in the FMCG, Beverage, and social sectors, including working with the Nigerian government on promoting SDG 2, 3, 6,17 goals.

She excels in building and managing relationships with key stakeholders, media outlets, influencers, and ensuring consistent alignment with the company’s vision and values. In addition to her communications experience, Cassandra also has a background in brand management and performance driving market growth through innovative consumer insights, product development, and digital marketing strategies.


Her passion for responsible marketing practices has been instrumental in changing consumer behaviour and delivering measurable business outcomes.


Cassandra holds a BSc in Microbiology from the University of Lagos, an MA in Marketing and Business from the University of Derby, UK, and certifications in Digital Marketing and Project Management.

Outside of work, she is deeply committed to social reform, collaborating with NGOs to achieve sustainable societal change.
