Jubril Aremu Gawat, the Senior Special Assistant on New Media to Governor Babajide Sanwo-olu, brings a wealth of experience to his role. Born on the 1st of November in Lagos Island, Lagos State. He holds a degree in Computer Science with Economics from the Crescent University, Abeokuta, Ogun State, where he graduated in 2010. Prior to his current position, Gawat, has worked with Caverton Helicopters as Data Entry Officer for over four years and Lagos State Government as a Program Analyst for 3 years. 

He has digital and social media experience, working on different projects for over 12 years, he also holds several certifications. Over the years, he has held several positions in various national media committees for both private and political institutions. With his rich Media and digital media background, Gawat is dedicated to leveraging digital media to advance the goals and initiatives of the Lagos State Government under Governor Sanwo-olu’s leadership, which he has done effectively. Hobbies are watching football, playing football, swimming and a passion for rearing cows and rams (for over 10 years in the business).
